My Blood

Evening wind rustles my thoughts
and you pulse through my mind
Like blood in my veins I see,
you are now a part of me
A piece I knew was missing,
but could never find
When darkness engulfs me,
I know now not to be afraid
But to seek another darkness
A darkness you provide
A dark embrace with warmth
and an odd shine that I know,
is just for me
Evening wind rustles my thoughts,
and my blood pulses through my heart
