MY Body, MY Choice

Change is uncertain

Change happens over time

I wish to live in a world where women do not have to be “protected” by men

I can protect myself

I am a women

I am capable of much more then you may think

I am able to wear whatever I choose

I am able to sleep with whomever I choose

Because it’s my body, and it’s my choice

You should have no choice over what I do and do not do with my body

I want to live in a world of equality

If that’s too much to ask

Where men and women can live in unity

Where our gender shouldn’t matter

I’m tired of having my choices about my body limited

Because it’s MY body, not yours

The fact that some Texas women are forced to travel 300 plus miles to get an abortion is outrageous

They say it’s to “protect” our health

When really they are just trying to control what we are able to do with our bodies

It’s MY body and MY choice, not yours
