MY BOOK OF POETRY
My book of poetry
I knew life, I saw life but couldn’t live to its full.
It’s hard to accept facts that I didn’t consent
This was the place I felt free to report,
Poetry, was my book of support.
I wake up every morning with the sun shone high,
I walk through thousand lives with nobody to seek or sigh
This was the place where I would drench my unseen tears
Poetry, was my book of no fears.
I wanted to soar, passing all challenging floors
I failed and tried all ways
When life was hard and falling apart
Poetry, was my book of friends I talked to.
I chose to write I wanted to speak
Digging out the inside of me
In paper and pen I had nothing to feign
Poetry, was my book of real identity.
