My Boy
You are always going to be my boy;
It’s irreplaceable that you are.
You fight off the black and white in my life,
working hard to make it vibrant, descriptive, scenic.
Placed so much magic in my heart already,
you must never stop.
I reach for the sound of your laughter when I want
better than what the world has to offer.
Because darling, you are cosmic. Intergalactic, even.
My ears will never bleed from the stars that pour
from your eyes as you spill your herculean soul to me.
