My Boyfriend
It was the end of 7th grade,
I felt like I was getting paid.
We were just a middle school couple at the time,
I thought my heart had committed a crime.
He supports me,
from sports, to counting to three.
Now it is 4 years and 8 months later,
still supporting me as a hockey skater.
Trust is never fully lost,
if it was, it would be a cost.
I can count on him,
even going out on a limb.
We have gone through ups and downs,
but we never end on frowns.
Committment is key,
our love grows stronger than the sea.
He makes me the happiest girl alive,
the relationship always thrives.
I am thankful for the laughs and smiles,
no matter the separte miles.
I will miss him through college,
we will make it work to my knowledge.
Dylan is my best friend,
he is with me to the end.
