My Bright Soul

At a young age, I used my long, brown tresses to hide my shy and blushing face. I hid my smile until I grew into a sunflower of bubbly conversations. My lanky, stretched out frame made me resemble a giraffe; but my honey brown eyes glittered with personality that overshadowed my old, timid spirit. This girl cut down to the quick. No-nonsense, but she sees the world in unbiased technicolor. Simultaneous upward curvature of lips that never droop in a frown, and lengthy spaghetti noodle arms care so much, the ever- present heart on her shoulder sheds a tear or two. Her thick black eyelashes lend animation to the one of a kind expressions frequently flitting across her narrow face. Piercing cheekbones with wide eyes lend her face an innocent and naive demeanor, but thin eye brows raise in scrutiny and quick wit more often than a non assuming word. When they see me coming, I want their eyes to squint because my soul is too bright, and I am the color of extraordinary.
