My Broken Light
I fell for your in absence of light, but I am just a version of your broken self trying to hold you before my past bleeds out. Though they tell me its love when you hold the deep scars of my heart as if they have no edges, no one has ever come back from the edge of tomorrow. My vice has my heartbeat and I'm drowning in goodbyes without water. I have been smoking away our last days like a gift wrapped in a illusion. I forget who I am without your hands wrapped around my throat, and though you are all the things that I ever dreamed about in secret and all the things I could never hope for out loud; save your breath. We are all shipwrecked in an ending like this.
