For My Brother.
Time flew by my window like the sparrow hurrying to nest.
I was once the master of my life,
now the endentured to the unexpected twists it takes.
Skipping over the meaning of growing up,
and decided to sleep in shades of quick tips.
When it was time to pay for my mistakes,
I had no riches to give and so I left to build my fortune.
The places I had never known and wished to see were not true.
Self discovery in travel didn't always lead me back home.
The home where I had a name.
The place where I could control time.
