MY BROTHER AND I LEFT

I can’t think of my father being dead, Who was an example to all us; He worked hard night and day for our bread, Then it came and took him far without fuss. I can’t think of my mother being dead, She was the firm column of the household; Her beauty made her insecure and sad, Mother brought us up trustworthy and bold. I can not think of my sister is dead, A caring lady with warm words to say; Illness came by and I felt really bad, Atrocious cancer came and took her away. Only my brother and I left alive, We do not know how long we shall survive.
