My buddy

it was 2018

I was in year 8

Choosing my choices for enrichment week

 Thursday was Cadbury world

I was excited to go with dec

The beginning was kinda boring...

Not much happened

Until...

I bumped into someone

Her attitude, her personality

It was like nothing I'd ever seen before

I was intrigued to know more about her

She fascinated me

She kept me interested

She kept me happy

She wouldn't be scared to come near me

Literally a year had past and she was already my best friend

We would also sit together in lessons

we would laugh together

We were half way through year 9 now

We would follow each other everywhere

We would meet each other in the mornings

we would go to music rooms

She would lean on me in science

She would mess around with me

And then one day in science...

They were all exchanging notes

I was clueless

later that day...I realised what it was all about

What?! Really?!

I was so excited and confused

I didn't know she felt that way

I mean I couldn't deny that I had the same feelings

But I was still shocked

And so...

After school one day...

She came out of the drama hall...

With a rapid heart and a shaky stutter...

I asked her out

And she said yes!

I had a rush of emotions and hormones run through me

It was a bout 4 weeks until she said she wanted to be friends again

I was OK with that

I wasn't going to force her into anything

So I said it was ok

And we went back to being best buds.

Year 10

Everything was going alright

A few arguments with our group

But it was ok

She still wanted to meet me in the mornings

And she still wanted to talk to me

We were still laughing

We were still playing around

We were still there for each other

Until...

Again?!

I didn't see it coming

I wasn't mad I was just surprised

So, we started over again

But this time we got further

We exchanged numbers

We texted each other

We were happy

Yes we had a few arguments

But that was natural

It came to Christmas time

And we parted ways again

But again, I was OK with it

Well, that's a lie

I cried but I was fine

We were best buds still

It's january

There i was

waiting for her in mansfield

As she comes down the lane i would walk up to her

Good morning!

She responded and we walked together

We waited for my god sister in a side lane

Where we saw the little cat who would visits us usually

We talked, we laugh

My sis arrived with Tyler and off we went

Off to school

That's what happened pretty much everyday

Sounds boring right?

Well it wasn't for me

Because every morning she showed me something

She showed me her other side

Her calm and sweet side

it was something I never see

Only in the mornings when it was just us

She made every morning fun for and she still does

It is now March just before lockdown...

We were still going strong

Meeting up in the mornings

Laughing with each other

she built up such an amazing relationship with me

From day one to now we were still best buds

Today...

It is lockdown

We can't go to school

I miss her

I miss her like crazy

I'm texting her almost everday

to make sure she is ok

I worry about her

I can't believe that my time with her will be cut short

She will be going to france

And now Im going to miss so much with her

There's going to be less memories to make

Less laughs to have

I'm sad

I'm going to miss her

Will I ever see her again?

I don't know

I don't know if I will be able to handle it

we have a strong connection since the day we met

But for now

We will wait and see

This is only half of the story

The story i have with amber

The best story ever...

I miss you, amber 😔
