My Burst of Joy

Before you came there was no guiding star

Everything was darkness in my life

My love for life was dull, was cold, was scarred

No visualizing myself as a wife.

If I could have been fortunate enough

of meeting you back in those years I wrote

About how life was lonely and so rough

Just like a storm and waves against a boat.

My heart will never ever lie to you

A burst of joy has entered through my heart

You'll never see or live a day of blue

because I know we'll never be apart

You fill my life with eternal glory

I'm glad to say this is our story.
