My Captains

Oh Captains My Captains

Thank you all for being the guiding hands whilst I was at the helm

While some are gone the lessons you have all taught me shall be forever engraved on my heart

You've taught me what it means to be a friend

You've taught me what it means to be a leader

You've taught me what it means to be a man

You've taught me what it means to be human

For that I am forever grateful

Your hands have guided me through the roughest seas

Through the storm of depression, you showed me that beyond there are bright blue skies

Lost in the sea of uncertaintiy, you steered me back on course

More brothers than friends, our bonds shall outlive the oceans themselves

Oh Captains My Captains, Thank You
