My Cat

My cat. He lays lazily upon the bed.

Another hour, he is now upon the couch.

The night, he walks all over my keyboard to his place next to me.

" klpjiohougyuftyd7", he types, with his feet.

He did so with a swiftness,

a flow I could never match.

It is more than I have typed in the last five hours for schoolwork.

This is absolutely ridiculous!

The cat has done more than me and does nothing but laze around!

I must be better than him.

I begin typing to finish my schoolwork.

My cat may type fast in a short period,

but I can type actual organized thoughts.

With sudden brilliance, I get back to typing my unfinished work.

With thanks, to my cat.
