My Catharsis

My Catharsis

I write,

To release my pain.

My catharsis,

Carries secrets:

Loves lost.

Loves gained.

Strained by defeat,

My soul softens.

I let myself go.

I feel empty.

Hopeless.

The writing streams,

From the pits of low.

The verses flourish,

As the beats flow.

Hopeful.

Why me?

I’ll never know…

My release.

My statement.

My life.

My words.

My world.
