My Chance at Love
Here I am again
Leaving many questions left unanswered
Not wanting people to know who it is
Their persistence has became impeccable
This individual shines brighter than any star in my eyes
She is as smart as she is beautiful
My feelings have now come out
And there is no more hiding
She is the one for me
Before, I didn’t realize how special she is
Now I see through a crystal looking glass
I see through my heart and it points to her
Not only is she the fuel to the fire that is my heart
But she is the reason
The reason I have been happier than ever
The reason school doesn’t seem like such a pain
To my heart, she is a dancer
Moving gracefully on the stage that led to my heart
Even though I miss the chance to see her most of the day
That makes the few times special
And I live for those times
No matter what anyone would ever say about her,
I would love her all the same
She is the spark to the engine that is my heart
Without the spark the engine would slow
Like it used to
But it runs like it is brand new
And it is
For the first time
I feel free
To express my feelings
I believe that love is out there
And even if I can’t be with her,
My love will live on
Because love is a force that knows no bounds
Love follows no laws or orders
Love is its own power
And to have love
Is to have life
So maybe one day,
Someone could give me a chance
To see what…
We could be
