My Chihuahua is Awesome

Laying in the pool on a sunny day,

Floating on a raft with my tiny dog

Looking forward to a vacation

Being able to go for a run on a cool morning

Eating sushi for half price on Sunday

Summer is awesome

Brisk mornings become longer-

Fall is here

The state fair is near

We walk and talk

To share our love of junk food and friendship

The holidays are coming shortly

Dressing up to become someone new, boo!

Or eating all the pumpkin pie in the whole world at one sitting

It’s cold now.

The ski slopes are open, as my new boots wait

To keep my toes warm

Fuzzy socks and oversized sweatshirts

Cuddling by the fire with my Chihuahua and a cup of hot chocolate

Blink and its time to CELEBRATE!

A new beginning, a clean slate

A fresh look at the next year ahead

Survive the cold winter, or move out West

My Chihuahua is awesome

He burrows beneath my blanket

Until the sneezing starts

Spring is here

We welcome allergies and fresh strawberries

The birds are chanting

Just like my soul

Because everything is awesome

My Chihuahua gets a haircut and dances through the freshly trimmed grass

His paws are stained green

My bare feet join him as I carol my new summer anthem, love
