My Child
Dear Child,
I want you to come into the world
It doesn’t matter if you cry
If only I hear you breathing
It means you are alive.
I will hug you to slumber
Although you’ll sometimes smell,
I will hold you tight after
And I will look after you well.
When you turn one
You’ll have lots of fun,
You may move to much
But you will always be my hun.
I will take your picture
On your first day at school,
when you’re only 3
all your classes are cool.
Ill remember your first birthday
With all your friends and family,
Im so glad that I made you happy.
Time flies by
You are now 16,
Its going to be tuff
because now you are a teen.
And then graduation comes
And so does my tears,
Youve finally made it child
YAY Cheers!!!
You have to pay your taxes
Until you’re 65,
Even though you’re still alive .
Perhaps I’ll have a grandchild
Running across the lawn,
And I’m thinking about this now
Before you’re even born !!
