My Circus of Humanity

Errare est esse humanum – to

Err is to be human, so they say; the

Holocaust, hydrogen bombs, and Hitler

Can profess. Yet who was their begetter?

The Almighty Holy Me – God, of course.

One cannot stop loving their progeny;

Each and every one – good, bad, mostly

Ugly – are my gift to the hell of Earth.

Some are the ringleaders, with their hooting,

Hollering, eclectic entouragé

My favorite: an elephant beneath

Four others, with a peacock-clad girl on top;

She’s quite the sight to see when toppling.

Errare est esse – to err is to be.
