In my city
Rain in my city
sirencing going off
Guns getting loud
Bodies laying
Kids hugry
Father running in and out of the jail cell
Mommy a crack head getting on that pole
Grandma getting old
Time getting short
The rain in my city
Kids popping pills
To many of us is getting killed
We not even seeing it past the age of 25
More babies begin born , Less children graduating
More funerals , less weddings
More cloudy days
Than sunny days
Everybody die but not Everybody live
Cops killing us , We killing us
Soon it won't be nomore us
The hate became so strong
The love became so fake
Everybodu stabbing everybody
This the city I live in ....
Shoot outs everyday . Never peace , We all most kill ...
We say we want it to end but we always take the easy way
What happen to fighting ??
What happen to loading a helping hand ??!
What happen to equal ???
This works was never equal we was always divided
Everything has a limit
Everything has a timer
Nothing or no one last forever
Only in my city
