My Confidant

My secret box,

Has many locks,

Of which there is only one key;

A giant does guard it,

So none may retard it,

A secret kept only for me.

Of darkness and light,

My heart does delight,

In hiding these secrets away;

So someday Prince Charming,

His heart loudly pounding,

Will with my secrets lay.

To myself understand,

Firmly yet with kind hand,

And suddenly make all else ok;

He will call to me,

And i will give him the one key,

To all the secrets I've kept hidden away.
