My constant my rock

I saw a dream escaping It was floating through the air Heading towards the window At the bottom of the stair Lucky for me the window was closed So my dream could not get through Most of the things in that dream I could only share with YOU! The laughter in my heart The thudding of my beating pulse The butterfly wreaking havoc inside my ribcage Are what makes my body convulse All brought on by YOU my darling My sweetest dearest friend You are my constant, my touchstone, my rock I'll love you til death brings us to an end. So why should I share my dream with you? When what's in there terrifies me? It's the flapping wings of my beautiful butterfly Desperately trying to break free And although it's not a flight of fancy Or that another has caught her eye It's because I can't imagine life without you But if you must, then off you should fly... Telling some one "I Love you" Is the greatest compliment they could recieve If it's spoken through a genuine tongue Then it should be easy to believe It says so much about the speaker Reveals exactly how they feel It means I trust you, I respect you, I'm there for you Makes all the inbetweens real.
