My Creation

What I see in the mirror is no longer my reflection,

But a creation of my internal hell.

She stares at me and glares at me

Until my eyes flood with the likes of an ocean's waves

Crashing into the shore.

Every inch and every curve like a fist to my face

So powerful and hurtful -

Yet I keep looking back,

Hoping to find some sort of positive.
