My Creator

“For I know the plans I have for you”

That’s why I always try to pray and keep that in view.

Though my happiness fades like a relationship losing its luster,

I see the sky, the grass, the sun, the flowers in their clusters.

Even the trees that stretch so tall,

They remind me that You created it all.

And with the almighty power You obtain,

You chose to make us, Your people, to declare Your name.
