To my crush

With you, I don’t have to try to be someone I’m not, I don’t even hate me around you

I have someone to talk with when before I had no one to even talk to!

I didn’t even plan this, but you showed up right when I was ready to give up, and you changed it all!

You treated me like a real person, someone worthy of love not just a doll

The first time I saw you I was scared to talk to you, The first time I talked to you I was scared to love you

Now that I love you with every inch of my being I’m scared of losing you, every day is a dream come true

Thank you for always being there when I gave you a million reasons to leave

You reverse depression, you make the failures seem so small compared to what I achieve

You help me see the good in myself, you’ve given me a reason to fight

You’re my hope, my reason, my want to keep moving, my kryptonite

You make me speechless and happy, you make tears fill my eyes

You make the attempts worth it, you still care for me through all my failed tries

You make me smile, you make my heart race

You make me light up when I see your face

You are the reason I’m breathing, yet you always take my breath away

I’m the one that walks out when i have a million reasons to just stay

I know you deserve better, so I just want to leave but you say otherwise

So i’ll believe you, but you know I’ll always stop to apologize

Apologize for all I’ve done to you, like the pain I’ve created

I’ve been hurt before too, like all the times I’ve been slated

But you know I think of you with every breath

You should know that I love, I love you to death

This is not goodbye, you know I love you to the moon and back

You know you can call me whenever you feel you’re gonna crack

Just keep in mind

That I topped you this time…
