My Crush of A Lifetime

My Crush of a Lifetime

The crush of a lifetime is what you are to me.

I was always dreaming of what you and I could be.

Too timid and afraid to tell you just exactly how I feel.

Wishing and hoping my dreams would one day become real.

Life moved on as it always does.

Another possible love again lost.

Then by pure happenstance, I am presented with a second chance.

What do I do, what do I say?

I cannot let this opportunity slip away.

I do not get second chances every day.

I must be bold, I must be cautious, I must be brave.

I got to watch what I say. I do not; I cannot scare her away.

I have to let her see what she means to me.

I got to show her that she’s My Crush of a Lifetime.
