My Cry
A speck. That's me on the face of the Earth.
Flesh. That's "we"... not made up of dirt.
What can we do to protect all that we're worth?
No contest can satisfy... our yearn to be first.
When is our good, good enough?
That we will never know.
Our minds are filled with thoughts... They're fighting to grow.
Knowledge. College.
They say it's something we need.
Indeed. It is something we need.
Does this mean that we cannot plead?
Fight? Die? For something we love.
An education to our mind is much like a drug.
When will we be able to stop learning?
That we can never do.
How can we stop learning when others don't even know what's inside of you?
I cry. I cry aloud so everyone can feel my pain.
I cry so that I can keep myself from going insane.
If only the world could cry... a cry that is true.
Life would be a bit more easy knowing that you let that pain out of you.
