My Culture

My ethnicity is my publicity.
I stand out just to be the one like me.
But cultural I'm one do you see
My culture is my identity.
Singing is part of me
Great Aunt Gloria sang 77 years before me
Passing it down
Now for me.
Can you see my culture yet?
Great cause it was never a debate.
Thanksgiving 2001 wasn’t quite a great one
Our great grandmother pass
It was just to fast.
I was told we had a blast.
Now November 27 isn't the only day for thanksgiving
Having life and living is our reason for
Having a thanksgiving.
