My Cup of Tea

Within in me I have the power to move mountains

One strike of the pen and a whole city disappears

Another strike and a world is created

I can make elephants, lion and zebras come to life

And then dance together through the night

In my pages I have captured the bird's song

And I have tamed the Call of The Wild

I have infused each poem with a feeling

So that they are like different teas sitting in a cupboard

Each with a different purpose

A poem about the moon is Chamomile, soothing and mellow

Whereas a poem about a cafe would be Vanilla Comoro, sweet but strong

And so, each day I drink poetry

One poem at a time

Just to feel it
