For My Dad
I love you.
Because you
Haven’t left my side,
Even when I was two.
Even though you weren’t
Ready for a kid,
You turned into a man,
Yes, you did.
Thank you for all
You’ve done for me.
Money says you’re the best,
I agree.
When my mom couldn’t raise me
Because she didn’t know how,
You stepped up to the plate and became the man you are now.
