My Dad Who Isn't My Dad
This man, he came into my life as i was just 4 or 5 years old. He married my mom, who had adopted me not even 2 years before he came. He took me in. He introduced me to AC/DC, to vanilla wafers with chocolate pudding, to riding four-wheelers, to mountain dew and after school adventures, he introduced me to being "cool" and keeping secrets from mom. He taught me the love of a man, and what I deserve. He stayed and loved me, even when i couldn't care less. When I had lost all of my morals, and left behind those who really cared, that man was waiting when i came running back to those i loved and needed. And this man has once again taught me that good people do exist, he's taught me to drive, to not care about the asshole guys in life, to pick the right friends and make the right choices. This man has become my very favorite person, and I love him more than words could say. This man is my dad, and he never had to be.
