My Daughter

A mother's best friend to be, is the sight of her babygirl, as you see. I knew when I laid my eyes upon you, that God had blessed me with a dream come true. You have now blossomed into a lovely young lady. It seems like yesterday, you were my tiny precious baby. Although we sometimes argue and fight, I love you more each day. You're my soul, my sight. Words can't express how being your mother makes me feel. The joy you've given to me is honest and real. The future is yours yet to see. Just know that no matter where you are, you will always have me.
