My Daughter

Sweet as a cupcake,
Busy as a bee,
I love my daughter,
And she loves me unconditionally.

Sassy and simple,
Plump as a peach,
My daughter is precious,
And is everything to me.

Smart as a fox,
Spry as a filly,
She keeps me on my toes,
But reminds me to be silly.

She shines like the sun,
She is bright like the moon,
She is my daughter,
She will grow up too soon.

She laughs all the time,
She eats like a beast,
She is my daughter,
On her love I will feast.

She is my purpose,
My morning and night,
She is my daughter,
And makes my heart light.
