My Dear Beautiful Angel

Sweetest smile that could brighten any day

A voice that was music to all ears

Laughter that was heard miles and miles away

Courage that was blind to all fears

Our endless talks and sleepless nights

Two different attitudes with a lot of sass

Our long walks and purposeless fights

A strong friendship shattered like broken glass

A few seconds caused so much hurt

My best friend suddenly taken

Her body was slammed into dirt

My life and heart was terribly shaken

May 11, 2015: a day of pain

”She’s gone Nokey”, I was told

In my heart I knew life would never be the same

I am a rainbow without my gold

How does someone deal with so much despair

The word “she’s gone” began to terribly dangle

One is gone from what was once a beautiful pair

My best friend is gone, and she’s forever in my heart

MLW will always be my beautiful Angel
