My Dear CongresspersonSpare me your
My Dear Congressperson
Spare me your trans hysteria
I have myopia
I do not have amnesia
Two decades ago, you warned of marital destruction
Should same sex marriage prevail
Two decades later
No calamity befell
Your doomsday cries are reminiscent
Of Christian’s countless rapture spoofs
Where they incorrectly predicted Jesus’ return dates’
Without providing proofs
So spare me the fearmongering
And attempted blood pressure spike
I’m off to exercise now
To hopefully improve my quality of life
