To My Dear Friend

To my dear friend

When I am with you

I don’t pretend

You are a blessing

Between us is trust

You stop me from stressing

There wasn’t much light

But when you came into my life

I learned to fight

You built me up

When I was down

You held me up

You tend to impress

With your positive mindset

And bring success

Our bond will never be broken

We have much respect for each other

Some things cannot be spoken
