My Dear Friend,
The beginning of the end
My dear friend I do not pity you
You have made yourself this way
I’ve heard you once was a good man
But before me is not a man but a child
You have lead yourself to your own betrayal
You have no one to blame but yourself
Do not put blame on others
When I look into your eyes
Its like staring into a empty shell
It seems that you are already gone
When I see your fake smile
I see that you’ve fallen into the abyss
It looks like you enjoy the darkness
You are nothing but a broken record now
Only repeating the past and dwelling in it
Time flies and waits for no one
Or is it you constantly try to stop it
The sins wrapped around your hand
Seems to fit like a glove
When your family reached their hands out to catch you
You denied them
Now you only hang on the last thread of sanity
Or have you already let go
One of a million reasons that guilt has swallowed you whole
You say you are broken
Which I do believe you may be
But my friend I am also broken
I too only hang on a thread
