My Dear Friend Dalia

Light isn’t always made of photons,

And not all heroes wear capes.

You’re the only single hope I float on,

My sweet little grape.

I lose a part of me when you’re gone,

My whole world just fades.

I pray the Lord to hear you respond,

My sweet little grape.

You aid me when I’m weak in my bone,

All my terrors I escape.

I love you unfailingly from dusk to dawn,

My sweet little grape

To you I give my thanks with no frown,

My whole heart you may take.

You’re the only single hope I float on,

My sweet little grape.
