My Dear Hungry Friends

Wherever I go

I know that I know

That you're missing me

Like I'm missing you

My far-away friend

I hated the end

When we said goodbye

But I'll see you again

You had nothing to give

But whatever you did

You touched my heart

I'm eternally changed

I miss you so dearly

If it was more than yearly

I'd be the happiest visitor

That you ever met

More loving than most

Without even toast

Your gratefulness humbles

All that you meet

My loved Filipinos

It's each of you who shows

How loving is done

And materials don't matter
