To My Dearest Chains of Doubt

Dearest Chains of Doubt,

My soul has awoken from a 1,000 year sleep,

And let me tell you,

I have never felt so alive!

I can’t help but think how much I’ve been missing out on

For so long I saw you as Goliath,

Now that you have shown me your true colors

You are not the powerful being you say you are,

Your simply a mere illusion

A facade

Therefore, you have shown me your weakness

You think you are invincible, but the truth is,

You talk too much

My ears are numb,

But my heart and soul are bursting with everlasting flames

Why am I saying this?

I have this message

With the intend to deliver it to you, personally,

It reads,

“ To my dearest Chains of Doubt,

I am happy to say that your tricks have dispelled,

I am done playing your games

I am no longer the damsel in distress

I am now a knight

I have gathered my weapons and have formed new alliances,

Their names are Wisdom,Clarity and Confidence

I remind you that it’s my soul you have stolen from me

Therefore, I will hunt you down and take back what is mine

Because I have a score to settle with you

The day we meet face-to-face,

Let this be a reminder that it takes more than tricks and games to Break me,

Only then you will see that the only difference from you and me, is that I am not a coward like you,

I will do everything in my power that you don’t forget my name

And to tell your friends that I brought your reign to an end,

That I am stronger than you,

And would do it again if you come back

It’s time you recognize your place

From the person who will bring an end to your reign, forever

                                                         Sincerely, Andrea Moreno
