My Dearest Friend

You

My dearest

Friend

You come to me

One this hot sunny day

Tear filled eyes

Pain shattered heart

The grass blowing in the breeze

Sun shining down on your face

Making you look full of life,

But, emotions bleeding from you

Cradling you in my arms

Sitting cross legged

Staring out at the deep blue sea

I rock you as you cry

A small action

On a jolly day

A friendly hug

To blow your rain clouds away

One small thing that meant the world

That brings joy

Boy or girl

To you I’m not just

A friendly shoulder to cry on

I’m the one that makes you smile as bright as the sun

The one that makes you chatter like the sound of bustling crowds

To you I’m one to confide in

That you trust

That loves and cares for you

Your closest friend

Now my friend I tell you

No matter how dark those clouds above your head maybe

Things will get better

Brighter days shall come

Beauty of one

As pretty as golden sand

Will attract your eye

Capturing your heart as easy as mean catch fish

The beauty of your one true love

Friend you must now fly free

Come back to me in times of need

In times you need comforting

I am always here for you

My dearest friend
