My Definition

Music...

This is what everyone has identified me with

Since middle school.

I never thought of it as a job.

I just wanted to do it because it was fun.

I just wanted to make friends.

Even with my social anxiety,

Everyone assumed my career will involve it.

I have been involved with it for as long as I can remember.

Just because I'm good at it doesn't mean I want to do it for the rest of my life. 

I have so much more that I can do than this.

I have so much more to offer.

But then I think,

Nothing else has been able to do this to me before.

Let's face the facts.

I have been involved with it for as long as I can remember.

It's just who I am.

It's the path I have chosen.

There is no going back now.
