My Demon, My Angel

There's a war in me,

Which was hard to explain,
Between me and my demon,
Between me and my angel,

I've been controlled,
Like a puppet,
With harsh noise of ugly thoughts,
And I could hardly listen to my own little heart,
Where the angel perched,

I thought I was lost,
I thought I'll be defeated,
But then I heard a voice,
Saying, that there will be no victory,
Without an opponent.
