My Despair

My despair,

though entirely cliche....

is losing you.

My best friend,

the one I fought for.

Why can't you see?

Exactly what I've done for you?

My heart rings with this sound...

The kind a  violin makes.

It's lost without the accompaniment of your piano.

Take my hand and let's recreate this world,

even if we become monsters.

Let's tear and tear away at this fabric called fate.

It's betrayal has me longing to see you smile again.

Don't leave.

I need you hear to stop me.

From tearing away at my own world.
