My Desperate Cry
My Desperate Cry
No one knows me
Or even tries to
I'm just a person
A soulless person
I have dreams
But no one sees
I have a voice
But no one bothers to hear
I have goals
But you say they're unreachable
You say I'm lost
That hope for me is gone
To prove you wrong would only be a step
To conquer the world would only be a sentence in my book
To live a life of love I've seen is unattainable
But then it happened
The day I dreaded
I never wanted this to happen
This wasn't my plan
I tried so hard to keep it away
But it can't be contained
I can't be seen in one way
Some days I choose to fly
And others I am ok on the ground
Does that make me undetermined
Does it make me lazy
So I choose not to care
I am quiet but dangerous
Like an ant invading a house
One moment im harmless
The next I am unstoppable
I choose to be what I want to be
I choose to be happy
With or without you
Though I need you
Everyone needs one
Some don't have one
So be the storybook mother
The one that says I can reach the stars
The one that even when I mess up you are there to help
Not ridicule
Not judge
Because we all make mistakes
So when I make mine don't give up on me
Just love me
Love me for me
Just because I'm not what you want
I'm what you have
And just like you
I'm irreplaceable
