My Doll

my doll is my great pride and joy

to protect from any boy.

I hold her tight

Willing to fight

because my doll depends on me

no matter what my age may be.

My doll looks neat

that’s quite a feat

because her clothes have busy stains

from playing in the rains.

With her I jest

and do my best

as she sits upon my knee

and we sit down for tea.

My doll is my great pride and joy

to protect from any boy.
