My Dream

In these days we all have a dream

Sleeping, working, or eating ice cream

Even I have one, and that's a job

Most people would doubt my wish

But nonetheless I will accomplish

My dream of becoming an actor

Call me crazy, call me a fool

Tell me I won't make it after high school

My dream of becoming an actor

Television, stage, or even the fair

I yearn to entertain people everywhere

My dream of becoming an actor

Maybe in college or in L.A.

I want to be in every play

My dream of becoming an actor

Maybe one day

Maybe somehow

I can reach out and touch the crowd

But for now I live in the normal strife

Dreaming of the day I change my life

My dream of becoming an actor
