My Dream Job

A dream job to me is something you work for your whole life and must accomplish to feel complete. Conquering my dream job would be life changing and a new chapter to write in the book of my future. Going to school majoring in psychology is a lot of hard work and dedication. I do the best that I can in school because one day I know I will be sitting in the chair of my dream job, looking back at all the hard work that paid off. A day in my future would be achieving my dream job of being a kids counselor, whether it be at a school, or in my own office. I have a passion for helping people, listening to them, and giving advice to the best of my ability. Choosing to work with kids will be the best decision I can make. I adore kids and feel that they will never have too many counselors in this world for children. Kindergarten through eighth grade are crucial years for children, when they are learning how to intereact with others, going through puberty, having problems at home, and sometimes even feeling depressed or overwhelmed. Kids need someone to talk to or else it will become a serious issue if they bottle up their emotions and feelings. We have all been in their position before when we have needed someone to talk to. Someone just hearing us out makes us feel a whole lot better. No matter what the situation is, I am always open ears to someone so I feel that this job in my future would be something I would enjoy waking up for in the morning. This scholarship would really help me out with paying for school so that in my future I can reach this goal.
