In My Dreams
In my dreams,
I awake from reality ,
And escape to my fourth dimension,
Where I find peace and clarity,
And run away with good intention.
In my dreams,
No one can stop me,
Or control the way I think,
the waves of a never ending sea,
Drown my mind with tranquility,
Though they never let me sink.
In my dreams,
The gorgeous city lights,
Fill me with envy and desperation,
The need to live and take in the sights,
Fill my thoughts with illumination.
In my dreams,
I have the strength to move forward,
And learn from the hardships of life,
I have no fears and I am not a coward,
In my world with no strife.
