My Echoes

I'm screaming in my mind, I'm drowning in the sea,

I am only human and one breeze could break me,

But you are in my heart and you make me stronger,

When you're in my heart I can stand forever.

All the other souls, They ignored my echoes,

I shudder in my dreams when the wind blows,

But you are here to preserve my broken heart,

When my life is ending I must try not to fall apart.

Every time my world begins to fade from white to black,

I always thought that I might not be able to come back,

But soon you pick me up the pieces of my wasted life,

When you're there for me I don't need to face all this strife.

All the other souls, they ignored my echoes,

Now I'll watch them sleep as the tide of war grows,

But then you save my soul and give me a chance,

When you're by my side, I don't need a battle stance.

In the darkest night I'll stand here and protect you,

We'll celebrate these scars and the pain we've been through,

But now I know that my belief was never once mistaken,

When you're in my heart my faith can't be shaken.
