My Education Isn't a Joke

"How do you feel?"

They ask me

When in actuality

They say

"You better be fine"

I'm so sick

Of being a prisoner

Of this education system

That swears it's on my side

As it stabs me

With sharpened pencils

And hits me

With heavy and

Outdated textbooks

When they tell me

I can't accelerate

Because I'm not ready

I can't be ready

When my grade aren't perfect

They're not fucking perfect

Because you made me confrom

In classes that have no benefit

In classes that only slow me

Those classes I do the worse

Because there is nothing

Keeping me mentally here

So fuck you school

I haven't even been here a year

But next year is the last

So I can mvoe on

And get an education

The education I deserve
